At Primula, we believe your little one deserves only the gentlest touch. Every piece is hand-woven in small batches from 100% pure cotton, grown and spun in the Himalayan hills of Nepal.

Our pieces are cut, sewn and finished by skilled Himalayan artisans using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations. There are no factories and no synthetic fibres — only cotton, hands, and time.

Because everything is made by hand, we make very little of it. What we do make, we make properly.

Our prints

Each design is block-printed by hand onto fine cotton gauze. Small variations in the print aren't flaws — they're the fingerprint of the person who made it.

Questions, answered

What size is the set?

Every piece in the Primula Baby Set is sized 0–3 months. The kimono tops tie at the side rather than pulling over the head, and the pants have a soft elasticated waist — so they're forgiving as your baby grows through those first weeks.

What is it made from?

100% pure cotton, grown and spun in the Himalayan hills of Nepal and woven by hand. No synthetic fibres, no blends, and always chemical-free — nothing on the cloth that shouldn't touch newborn skin.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent, and tumble dry low or line dry. Hand-blocked cotton softens beautifully with every wash — expect it to feel better at month three than it did on day one. Wash before first wear.

Will my set look exactly like the photos?

Close, but not identical. Prints are blocked by hand and cloth is woven on a hand loom, so slight variation in the print placement, colour depth and weave is part of what you're buying. If a piece ever arrives genuinely wrong, email us and we'll make it right.

How long does delivery take?

Sets ship within 1–2 business days of your order. Delivery time will be emailed once your order is complete.

Can I return it?

Yes — unworn, unwashed pieces can be returned in their original packaging. Email info@primulababy.com and we'll send you instructions.
